Double value enhancement for Viewguard

The “red dot design award” is an international competition which was launched in 1955 by the North Rhine-Westphalian Design Centre (Design-Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen). The “red dot design award” ranks among the most renowned design competitions in the world.

Design experts from all over the world select the products that best reflect their concept of design excellence based on a range of criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, symbolic and emotional quality. The Viewguard convinced them in every respect and it was one of the products selected to receive a red dot award from a total of 3,203 entries. The international jury paid tribute to the Viewguard’s distinct geometric shape, which facilitates the alarm’s visual integration in its surroundings. The jury was also impressed by the Viewguard’s functions, in addition to its visual appeal. According to the “two-in-one” principle, the new generation of intrusion alarms now integrates BUS-1 and BUS-2 connections in one system.

Honeywell Security is the only manufacturer with an entire range of intrusion alarm systems for all VdS classes in a standard design.
